Welcome to an exciting new vision of the structure and evolutionary biology of the DNA molecule.

This sees the ASDT model of this amazing molecule as emerging from and then
completely overrunning the archaic ribonucleoprotein world with its vibrant
energy and functionality. This ancestral model then went on to adapt and
develop into the range of more stable forms; circular bacterial forms, and the
astounding 4 stranded intercalated, protein associated forms found in higher organisms.

The author arrived at the ASDT model of the DNA molecule over 40 years ago.
It is only over the last 2 years thanks to the observations and enthusiasm of
Samir Brahmachari https://www.linkedin.com/in/samir-k-brahmachari-9782b1105/ that he has come to understand its potential significance.

It is only in the last few months thanks to the kind encouragement of Sean Kettle
https://www.dna.place that the author has properly learned the details of the

other alternative models. Digesting this new work has been very challenging.
The reward is laid out on this website – an exciting new synthesis suggesting just
how truly extraordinary the DNA molecule may turn out to be.

The dynamic ASDT model of the DNA molecule

This is a very simplified artist’s impression without puckering, electron cloud shifts, correct bond lengths or water molecules

The proposed research will produce an accurate and stunning version.
